ABOUT US: Why
"Paraboloid?"
In 1668, Isaac
Newton invented the reflecting telescope, which uses a paraboloid mirror
(a mirror whose cross-section is a parabola) to form the image. Just as
a telescope helps one see things from far away, we hope that the music
and arts materials we publish will expand your perspective and help you
to appreciate the myriad wonders around you.
Paraboloid Press publishes music for a variety of
instrumentations—especially small instrumental ensembles, handbells,
piano, and choir—as well as do-it-yourself arts and crafts books. Most
of our materials are made available as digital downloads, though some
are also available in printed form. As a small, independent publisher,
we primarily specialize in high-quality, advanced original compositions
and "off-the-beaten-path" works that might not be a good fit for
traditional publishers.
Note that, as
of September 2024, Paraboloid Press is not currently accepting new
submissions. For more information

Note: Purchase of Paraboloid Press titles includes rights for live
performance and live streaming.
